With 5Golds in his pocket, he is still short of Three gold from his target

*I'm SPEECHLESS*

For Michael Phelps, It's not enough to just set a new standard. He has to demolish the old one.Winningest Olympian ever?
He's two golds past that already and not finished yet, just over halfway to his goal of breaking Mark Spitz's record SEVEN in a single Olympics.World records?
Phelps sets a pace to crush one of them by more than FOUR SECONDS and that is
the Men's 4X100m Freestyle Relay held at the National Aquatics Centre on Day 3 of the Beijing Olympics on 11th August 2008.

Talking about the United States's team? What about the others? 4 other teams broke the world record but Jason Lezak who won the race by knicks of hundreths of seconds beating the 100M Breaststroke champion,Alain Bernard of France and the only reason behind Michael Phelps of striving to his target of EIGHT gold medals.
The United States finished the race with a time of 3.08.24 and set a new World Record.

I was happy after the smiles on the French swimmers although it was a sad lost for them especially for their hitman, Alain Bernard.
